About Us

Company Bio

We started breeding in 1981 with “Benny” - he was the best! Benny was a Rottweiler and the smartest dog ever. I entered him in his first obedience trial at 18 months of age and he scored 198 out of 200 points. I was over the moon! Shortly after that, Benny was playing in the backyard and was bitten by a hornet and died almost instantly. I didn’t think I would ever get over the loss.

Thankfully, I had the pleasure of another little “Rottie”, this time a girl. Her name was “Kelsey” - she was beautiful - the softest, most loving dog in the world. From those two dogs, my kennel was born.

Since those first years, I have worked very hard at being the best I can be when it comes to the dogs — keeping up with advances in feeding, training, breeding and veterinary medicine. Everything was welcomed - I couldn’t get enough info. At the dog shows we would spend hours discussing our own dogs and the dog world in general. The subject I was most concerned about was food. I believed then, and I believe today, that what you feed your dog is the single most important health benefit we can provide to our animals.

Another favourite activity was dog obedience. Of course it started with Benny. After he died my heart was a long time healing, then I heard about kindergarten puppy training. Holy smokes was that ever fun and very rewarding. That brought me back into working with the “kids”.

I could go on for hours but I’m sure you aren’t into reading about me, you want to discuss "Frenchies". If you DO want to discuss French Bulldogs and my experience with dogs , please don’t hesitate to contact us...
